Rob has underwritten and closed over $1 Billion in Commercial Real Estate transactions since joining U.S. Realty Capital in 2004. As Principal Rob directs the Atlantic Northeast Office’s overall operations from the initial client contact to the final closing. He is committed to providing all of his clients with creative capital solutions tailored to their unique requirements.

In 2008 and 2009, during the height of the financial crisis, Rob negotiated $100 million of Discounted Note Payoffs (DPO) for his clients. He subsequently refinanced these loans with regional and local banking institutions saving his clients millions in principal payments while reducing interest rates and improving loan terms.

An invaluable component in initiating and nurturing strong lender and client relationships, Rob provides the utmost personal attention and professional service to ensure the successful financing of his clients’ projects. Rob has expertise financing all product types including apartment, office, retail, industrial, self storage, nursing homes and hotels. Financing requests for his Clients have included equity, mezzanine, construction, long term debt, and joint venture transactions.

Rob attained his BA in Economics from Hobart College where he also graduated as the College’s #2 all-time leading scorer in basketball. Following Hobart, Rob went on to play basketball professionally in Italy and the United States and coached at the collegiate level for three years. Rob holds an MBA from East Carolina University.

Rob’s professional affiliations include the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
