Robert Jacoby

Robert A.C. JacobY Managing Partner

Co-founder & Managing Partner of Philadelphia Private Capital, LLC (“PPC”), which serves as the Philadelphia office of U.S. Realty Capital, LLC. He has over 35 years of experience in real estate finance, banking and asset management. As both a commercial mortgage banker and real estate investor in the Philadelphia market, he is highly regarded for his extensive experience in commercial debt and equity placement and in advising clients on the structuring of real estate investments. Philadelphia Private Capital, LLC, has been in operation since 2005. Mr. Jacoby also established and managed the two commercial real estate private equity funds, Intrepid Real Estate Opportunity Funds I and II.

Previously, Mr. Jacoby co-founded Progress Realty Advisors, LP, a mortgage banking firm where he served as President and COO. He also served as a Principal of the Philadelphia office of iCap Realty Advisors. While at iCap he completed over $750 million in debt and equity placements over an eight-year period primarily through Prudential Life Insurance Company’s PruExpress program. Mr. Jacoby also previously held the title of Senior Manager of Real Estate Advisory Services at Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) in Philadelphia and has worked for a number of major commercial banks in the mid-Atlantic to include Fidelity Bank and Maryland National Bank.

Bob holds an AB in Economics and Business from Lafayette College and an MBA in Finance from LaSalle University.  He also formerly served as a member of the Board of Governors and Treasurer of Sunnybrook Golf Club and was on the Vestry and served as Accounting Warden of the Church of St. Martin-In-The-Field. Bob also spent 10 years as an Armor Officer in the United States Army Reserve.
